BPM
is also known as; Barnett Pro Maintenance hereafter. Offering General home & residential services, maintenance & repairs.
BPM has a
Washington State Dept. of
Revenue permit and is City of Tacoma Licensed as a maintenance repair company, not a
Licensed Contractor.
Barnett Pro Maintenance is independently owned and operated by David Barnett as
licensed, and as such is not a part of nor controlled by any
other company, organization or person what so ever. We offer home and apartment
complex owners maintenance, basic repairs & services. We
do not offer services that require a Contractors License.
HOME
INSPECTIONS -
Basic home
inspections, including plumbing, electrical, foundation, roofs, interior
features, heating/air and insulation... plus more. We are not
a licensed inspection company, but you will get a fair estimate of property
condition for just $195 average cost whereas a licensed inspection
company charges an average of $475. We also provide a
written report as well. See the sample Inspection Form.
POSTED HOURLY RATE - $65 per hour* - (Our competition is $85/hr)
Important note;
Most repairs are by estimated bid, prior to repair work starting, so that the
home owner will know what the cost is prior to beginning the job.
By State Law, estimates may go beyond the bid by only 10% if the repair work
entails unexpected time and/or materials.
Optionally; You may request hourly rate if you wish prior to job/repair work starting.... but once work has started the agreement holds firm.
Note; bids/estimates are firm with only the 10% allowable flexibility and cost of materials effecting the final bill or invoice of amount due.
Exceptions; may
occur that are beyond the home owner or repairman's ability to foresee, such as
when a wall must be opened up to repair a water pipe....
it may be that other pipes are also in need of repair or that rotted wood may be
discovered which needs replacement. In such cases the original bid or
estimate will not cover such damages.
Discounted rates;
discounts are only available if you are a client of one of our wholesale
clients. This must be verified prior
to any estimate or bid on work to be done.
· Roof repair
- ....roofing repair/replacement does not require a Pierce
County permit the last time we checked, however homeowners should
call and check
what permits may be required within city or county limits whenever work is to be
done.
Any permits that are required are the responsibility of the homeowner.
